Back in 2015 we moved to our current location in Yorkshire. We were lucky enough to have a purpose built workshop next to the house but didn't really have any ideas of what to do with it.
Over the years we have encouraged the wildlife into the garden and over time the squirrels (or Kevin to be precise) have become very friendly. They come to visit each day and sit looking through the window for ages.
When we decided to make a business from our candles, diffusers and crafts we were struggling for a name. It was Kevin that gave us the inspiration and The Yorkshire Squirrel was born.
As a thank you we wanted to show our appreciation and support the local wildlife and so we decided to donate 10% of all our profits to The Yorkshire Wildlife Fund.
Kevin will continue to be a big part of our business so be sure to watch out for him on social media.
