Hi, my name is Lorraine and I am a hobbyist who enjoys making all sorts of hand made items from resin coasters, bookmarks, cats, trays, pots to crocheted chicken nuggets! I used to make jewellery in another life and I still do make the odd peace when I get the inspiration. I have a book of ideas which I write in when I get that flash bulb moment and can't wait to make them. Not going to lie, there are a lot of unsalvable creations, happy mistakes which turn out great and ones where the idea becomes reality. It's all part of the fun and I just love it. In the resin world I am relatively new having only started using it back in May 2024 but I am obsessed. So much so, I realised I should probably try to sell some. Even the packing process makes me smile - just love wrapping my items and sending them off for someone else to appreciate them - hopefully. Even before making handmade gifts, I always loved buying them as they are so much more personable and unique which makes the act of gifting them very special.
On a personal note, I live in Sussex with my family and my two cats and have a small crafting room. I've always had rescued cats as far back as I can remember. In fact, my black cat logo is drawn from one of my lovelies who has since passed away. He was on the kitchen window looking out at the snow falling and I just caught that moment on camera and it's always been one of my favourite cat pics. You've probably guessed, I am THAT crazy cat lady but I have a love of all our animal friends - it's just cats keep me sane!!
As stated, I am not a professional or business, I am just a hobbyist who enjoys making things. Whilst I strive to attain perfection and take great care when crafting my items, the very nature of resin means there will be imperfections - bubbles/holes/colour bleeding in the cured resin. Please bear this in mind when viewing/purchasing. As they say, nothing in life is perfect – except Cats, they are supremely purrfect beings or at least they believe they are!
No two pieces I make will be exactly the same as there will always be variations in pattern and colour.
