Bringing DIY Craft to Your World!

Welcome!
The DIY Tribe was dreamt up and created by me, Jo Foy. I spend the Summer months working at music festivals running craft workshops. With my merry tribe of crafty workshop folk we've taught 1000's of people how to sew, print, weave and make all sorts of fun creations. We're often asked if we make craft kits so recently I crowdfunded to launch my first range of them.
Alongside all of this I make Automata and Hand-Stitched Textiles by commission.

Officially, I've been a Maker since graduating in B.A. Art & Craft a long, long time ago but to be honest with you, I can remember tinkering with a sewing machine way before that.

After art school, I spent years hidden in the forest, living off grid in a vintage caravan in New Zealand. However, these days my home is in rural Herefordshire where I live with my family. Being a Maker and a mum means I'm in a constant state of juggling between creativity and childcare. When it goes well, I work on new commissions, create for exhibitions and deliver craft workshops throughout the country.
