Quirky & Whimsical Animal Art

Hello! My name's Aimee & I'm the creator & artist behind The Curious Ark.

I'm a self taught artist and a huge animal lover. Prior to starting my art business I worked in fashion retail for nearly 20 years but always felt I should be doing something much more creative. By combining my love of animals and all things a little strange & quirky, my 'Human Animal' creations began.

All of my anthropomorphic work is created digitally, with many being made using antique oil paintings & vintage photos that are in the public domain. I love creating humorous & whimsical characters to the old images I find and giving them a modern twist that make a fun conversation starter.

I'm thrilled my art is now in homes & businesses all over the world and I look forward to creating many more curious creatures to adorn your walls, intrigue & delight.
