Hand-knitted high quality woolly socks made in the Wild North of England

Hello and welcome!

My name is Ella and on this page I would like to write a little something about me and my relationship with knitting.

Taught by my grandmother, I have been knitting with a traditional technique involving five double-pointed needles since the age of ten. It is a technique that allows a seamless sock to be produced, thus enhancing the aesthetic quality.

Today knitting occupies a special place in my life. For me personally, it isn’t just a hobby to enjoy, but also a meditative practice that induces a deep sense of relaxation inside of me.

Furthermore, I gain a great feeling of fulfilment and satisfaction from the making of something from scratch with my bare hands into something that is both beautiful and practical, not just for myself, but more importantly, for others.

Delivery

For items already in stock, delivery time is 2-5 working days. For custom orders, delivery time is 4-6 weeks, depending on the number of orders in the queue. We will keep you informed about the status of the production.

Someone will need to be present at the shipping address to accept the order. We cannot leave an order without a signature. You also release Stellar Socks from all liability if an incorrect address is supplied or a parcel is stolen from your property after delivery.

Stellar Socks aims to ship all over the world. You are responsible for paying any customs duties or import taxes.

For international deliveries, the delivery cost is calculated by the system based on the weight of the socks and packaging.

Please note that we are only shipping signed and/or tracked, hence the higher postage costs. If you prefer a non-tracked delivery, please be aware that you would be taking on the risk of not receiving the item, or receiving it damaged.
