I am an avid (my husband would say fanatical) wool crafter for over 30 years, jumpers. baby wear. shawls, toys, you name it I have knitted it. Then a few years ago a friend asked me if I would like to help her with her business and I began travelling around the country selling loose leaf tea & coffee plus all the accessories, teapots, coffeepots, infusers etc … but we didn't sell tea cosies !!
As a birthday present for the same friend, a tea drinker who always uses a pot, I knitted a little dog tea cosy, she thought it was fantastic and suggested that I make some more and sell them as an accessory at future shows across the country. Although we have now retired from tea and coffee business, I am still selling at local shows as well as on line and have now extended the range up to over 30 designs.
All of the tea cosies in my shop are not only designed by me but are hand knitted by me using only premium quality materials. Each design has its own inspiration and story making each one totally original.
If its unique you are after then ask me about the bespoke knitting / design service I offer where with a couple of pictures and maybe a quick conversation I will knit an item for that special occasion. This service is not just for tea cosies, I have in the past turned the designs into hats, mascot dolls and even a wedding cake topper.

Well made and arrived safe in Wales and is now with my sister in Canada for her 60th. It is with the other real sheep on a farm. I hope it survives her grandchildren they are only meant to look at it.

This lovely matey is one of my husband's birthday gifts as a nod to his life on the ocean wave for many years,before we met and our shared love of all things tea. Rob is chuffed to bits with his gift and we are both full of admiration at the beautiful craft work and attention to detail.The new shipmate is pride of place in the kitchen where we can see him.
