My name is Sophie Tilston, I am a print designer based in Cornwall with a passion for colour and pattern.

Hello, welcome to my Folksy shop.

I have a very eclectic approach to my print designs.
My inspiration comes from my surroundings, vintage fabrics, wall papers and tiles.
I am also heavily inspired by other cultures in particular Japan, India, Sweden and Mexico.

I use many different techniques to create my final designs.
Most of my patterns start from hand drawn, painted or lino printed elements, which I then manipulate
in photoshop and illustrator.

I design and print my patterns in my Cornish seaside home studio (and some times the kitchen table).
I use a number of different heat presses and a convection oven to print my designs on to my products and fabric.

Buying from me

All of the items you see in my shop are designed & printed by me here in Cornwall.

The only items I have printed for me are the fabric for my lampshades, and my 100% cotton tea towels (both U.K. companies).

All designs are my own.

I don't hold much stock, so most of the items you order from me will be made for you.

I carefully package every item before sending it out to you.

I try to use recycled packaging as much as possible.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
