Based in Lincoln, UK, Soph of Bread is the brain child of me - Sophie Lloyd - glasses-wearing feminist, cat lady and nerd by nature.
My work is dedicated to iconic women across the arts, history and pop culture, as well as celebrating femininity and nerd humour. Growing up I was never really a girly girl, and as an adult, I’ve combined my interests to create quirky illustrations for girls like me. Ladies who love lipstick but also sci-fi. Girls who game, watch cute animal videos and fight the patriarchy. My prints are hand-drawn before being digitally coloured and styled, and are printed on 315gsm fine art paper. There’s also mugs, bags and greetings cards – grrl power!
