Handmade vegetable based soaps, soy wax candles and melts. They smell divine!

How did it all start?
I have been making handmade soap and candles for myself and as gifts for family over the past year, its a hobby I really enjoy and find relaxing to do. I found myself unexpectedly unable to return to work after my second child so me being me, and after a lot of thought I have decided to turn my hobby into a business, hence in 2016 Soap and Candles UK was born.

I took a lot of time to source the lovely ingredients and scents, wanting to created products which only contained plant/vegetable based ingredients. The scents were chosen to give a wide choice and there is something there for all tastes. I spent about 4 months just sourcing the ingredients, testing and trialing everything I sell in my shop, then I had to get through all the red tape, safety assessments and labeling rules which were a task in themselves. There is certainly never a shortage of soap and candles in my house.

All my products are created, handmade and hand poured and packaged by myself at my home in Leicestershire UK.
All products suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans and none of my ingredients or products are tested on animals.
All my soaps have passed safety assessments & are fully compliant with EU regulations and all my candles are tried and test by myself before being made available to the public and conform to CLP labeling regulations.
As of August 2016 Soap and Candles UK became a Member of the Guild of craft Soap and Toiletry Makers.
