"I always loved Art at school. When everybody else was doing Economics, I was the pupil who sneaked off to paint, in the Art rooms… just drawing and painting, and being creative! I suppose I was always going to go to Art School, then onto my BA(hons) degree course in Fashion Design. The whole time was drawing, creating, sketching…. this was something that is part of my standard life, and 20 years later, I’m still lucky enough to draw, sketch and create beautiful wedding gowns."
Sketch My Dress is born from all my years of illustrating bridal gowns, as part of my clients commissions, and I often was asked if I could create one for a gift. That has expanded in Sketch My Dress, whereby anyone can send me pictures of their gown, and I can turn into into a unique gift. Paper is the first wedding anniversary present too, so its a perfect gift for all those guys stuck for an idea!
Since COVID-19, and the postponement of this years weddings, I am turning my hand to creating very special Face Coverings, using a wide selection of beautiful fabrics, some of which are designer or limited edition. They are made with the same love, care and attention that goes into my wedding gowns, just on a smaller scale!
