My name is Irram, I'm a Welsh girl, born on St David's Day in the Welsh capital of Cardiff and I've finally learned how to speak Welsh. Hence, the name of my business, "Seren' is Welsh for 'star'.
I've always liked jewellery and girlie things. A friend tried to get me into card-making and took me along to Hobbycraft one day, many years ago, but I spotted the jewellery beads aisle and that was it, I was hooked. I attended a few classes, but I'm mainly self-taught. I just try and make something different and pretty, quite often out of unusual beads.
I'm particularly proud of my vintage range, especially the items made out of Cath Kidston prints, as I'm very obsessed with her products! I may have to move out of my house soon as her bags are taking it over!
