Hello!
My name is Scarlett and I am the owner of ScarlArtt Designs. I have been running this small business since August 2020 and I am based in Birmingham, West Midlands.
I am in my early-mid 20's and have developed a passion for creating art in the stippling technique (dot-work style) I spent my entire time at University honing my craft on the side of a drama degree and built my confidence in sharing my work with family and friends. By the time of Summer 2020, I had created a stop-motion animation where I drew the entire animation element in a creepy-blackwork style and LOVED it. It really inspired me to draw more and that maybe I could start sharing my work further afield and eventually sell some stuff.
I have now been running ScarlArtt Designs for nearly 2 years. In this time I have developed even further as a dot-work artist and I am now producing prints that I am so proud of. I also like to dabble in digital art from time to time and I am constantly trying new methods of creating so you may also spot a few other products from time to time.
My main theme is animals and creatures. I have such a love for animals, especially marine life, so my work tends to explore this. Whether it be a collection of funny species of fish, to a dark collection of mythical beings, I always like to include some sort of natural element. In addition to this, I have a big interest in horror and darker imagery, so you will also find some darker more creepy pieces across my shop!
Lastly, I do have commission rates, however I am currently CLOSED FOR COMMISSIONS. Please keep an eye on the shop page for when I do open my commissions if you are interested.
