Hi I'm Karolina, owner and creative designer at Runkowska ceramic. I am passionate about all areas of my business and like to be very hands on, this means my job title also includes: maker, marketing manager, packer and cleaner! I have a creative soul and have been playing with art since I was a child. When I finished art college in Poland, I thought I was a painter however at my first contact with clay I realised that was where my true calling lay. I was teaching painting lessons to children, which ran between 2016 and 2018, one day I had run out of painting inspiration, so I bought the clay instead and asked them just to create something. With the children gone, spare clay was drying and looking at me. So I touched it and we stuck together until today.
Now I have turned my passion into my work and I believe that's what life is all about. Do what you love and let people join you in your hapiness. I am so thankful for being able to capture nature and its beautiful leaves in my work, allowing people to feel this relationship and even to convert a usual meal into connection with nature. The vivid color palette for my plates is also derived from the natural world.
I like to build collections that can easily match with my clients taste and preferences. I believe that everything in our houses should be useful and beautiful, and that no matter where you live, you can embrace this way of life! Do not hesitate to ask me a question.
