Hand printed linen fabrics that bring the garden into your home

Robin's Room hand printed fabric cushions, lampshades and lavender pillows are designed and made by Helen Darlington in her home studio in Sheffield.

I work from my home studio above the garage and as a nature lover, gardener and birdwatcher my designs are drawn from my immediate surroundings. My wildlife friendly garden is a constant source of fascination and inspiration. It's amazing what can find a home when you let things get a little wild. We recently discovered a badger set just by our front gate!

I started Lino block printing when my two boys Robin and Toby were babies and I needed to literally carve out some time for myself during nap times. As a fine art graduate I needed a creative outlet and I found lino carving easy to fit around family life. I printed my first robin print fabric for Robin's nursery and carried on from there. Now my sons are growing up and Robin's Room has grown with them.

Quality of product is very important to me so I hand print and make all my items personally using top quality inks and beautifully woven Irish linen.
