“Making chairs funky”
Here are some things just listed by other crafters and sellers on Folksy.
Purple Door Props was established in 2014. We started up cycling colourful chairs for weddings and events (which we still do!) and because people loved them so much, we started to sell them too. We love seeing people's faces when they see them and often hear, "My Nan had that" or "We had one of those in my house growing up". The difference is that we paint them up using Vintro non-toxic chalk paint, and breathe new life into something which may ,look a bit tired and boring. Our chairs are fresh, funky and fabulous. We can also paint them in animal prints too which look grrrreat.
We are a family run business: me (Sally) and my Step-son, Jasper. We are located in sunny Worthing in my studio. We live with my husband, kids and three dogs.
