Earthy, folky handprinted art, celebrating the changing seasons and the magical places of Britain

To ink up a new linocut and see it printed for the first time is pure magic! And there’s something about hand carving a printing block – a blend of art, craft, and design – that produces images with an atmosphere of ancient times.

Celebrating the seasons and marking the festivals on the Wheel of the Year keeps me feeling connected to the natural world, and in turn inspires my designs.

Some prints incorporate poem fragments in hand-written lettering to add context, or even as useful little verses to be read out at your own seasonal celebrations!

Prints can be on either natural handmade papers, or calligraphy sheets, depending on the methods used. All designs are carved, drawn, or lettered by hand, and as such are totally unique.
