Baubles, Beads and Whatever.

I have always made things. Over the years I have made wedding dresses, evening dresses, toys that sold in very nice shops including Fenwick's of Bond Street, designed for a craft magazine, written a craft project once a week on a daily paper, made dolls houses and furniture, painted botanical pictures (very detailed) written stories for children and many other things. Most of this while still teaching. Now I am retired and rather arthritic I decided I would make jewelry because I love the brilliance of beads and I can sit with my special wonder lamp and create necklaces and earrings (rather a lot get whipped away by my grand-daughter, thank goodness I have four grandsons and only one grand-daughter). I sell my items giving a percentage to charity and I am always happy for the person buying to choose the charity. Often several people have chosen the same charity so I can amass a respectable donation to send. I am always happy to make in colours requested and ihappy to make mum and little daughter items. I thought my great grand-daughter was nicer to look at than me, she was two hours old when this was taken.
