I make rosary bracelets and prayer bangles inspired by nature and by my faith.

After a career break from social work of 16 years, during which time I had my five children, I was a little lost to know what to do next when my youngest daughter started full-time school. I needed to find something creative and spiritual which fitted around my family. As a member of the Catholic Charismatic Community originating in France "The Emmanuel Community" my prayer life is important to me and making rosary bracelets and key rings combined my love of jewellery making, gemstone beads and my faith

I rekindled my jewellery making skills, designed, made and marketed rosary bracelets and bangles on Facebook and then sold them to local people and friends at craft fairs, church fairs and school fairs. Many people wanted custom made pieces and appreciated that I would pray for them or their intentions as I made their item. In July 2019 I started Perles of wisdom here on Folksey and in this way can reach more people in the Uk and around the world.

All the wrists you can see in my photos are real people, not models, they belong to friends, family and satisfied customers and I am very grateful! Wrists are very hard to photograph and come in many beautiful shapes and sizes. Please do not be over critical and do enjoy the lifestyle shots, my bracelets are worn by many people and they do travel around the world! I do get asked quite regularly whether I have any healing crystals and my answer is always, the stones are not intrinsically healing, but the prayer which they can be used for can be. People also regularly ask, whether I am worried about people copying my design and the answer is no - it is not just the design that is beautiful it is the atmosphere of prayer in which they are made which makes them beautiful and this is difficult to replicate! Whilst on the subject of stones many of the beads I use have been "enhanced" during the bead making process. In each of my listings I have used the name of the gemstone bead as described by the manufacturer. If you are looking for totally natural stones you will have to pay a lot more money and for me it is the beauty of the bead that matters, not whether the colour is totally natural. I do believe that wearing a beautiful rosary bracelet can lead your soul to the beauty of God but there is no magic involved!

Some of my rosary bracelets have tracker charms to keep your place when saying the rosary and allowing you to split it up during the day. The design of the trackers is my own but I cannot claim inventing the concept, which I found being used by rosary bracelet makers in the USA.

Oh and I recycle bubble wrap padded envelopes so for the sake of our planet please do not be offended!
