Mixed media art. Grungy, slightly surreal and a little bit Gothic

I am a digital and mixed media artist with a love of Dark fantasy, Grunge, Steampunk, surreal art and photography.
I live in the UK, close to the wild moors of Emily Bronte and the old town of Whitby, where Bram Stoker penned Dracula. I am influenced by artists such as Hieronymus Bosch and Mark Ryden, the fantasy/sci-fi books of China Mieville and Korean horror films.
Originally trained in graphic design I did not pursue this as a career and it was over twenty years before I picked up a paintbrush again. Fascinated by the wonderful array of mixed media products available I began to experiment and now feel I have to create everyday. Though only beginning to make art again in 2015, I have gone on to teach myself Photoshop, digital art and digital compositing and using all forms of mixed media.
I am very proud to have had my artwork published in several issues of the nationally acclaimed Living The Photo Artistic Life Magazine and My Creative Images Magazine
