Here are some things just listed by other crafters and sellers on Folksy.
My name is Steve Newton and I own and run New Age Carvings.
New Age Carvings was born from my new found love of all things New Age. I am a great lover of dragons along with Celtic, Gothic, mystical and fantasy artworks, although I have a very broad interest in a lot of other beliefs and lifestyles so my product range is always expanding.
It all started with a small project for my partner 3 years ago who was looking for an incense burner with a specific design but couldn't find one. And after a few days, the items she was looking for was made.
Since this first item, my small business has been growing along with the product range that I produce. Some of my items are now available in various retail outlets and I am being followed on various social media groups by over 3000 people worldwide.
I am always developing new items ranging from the small pieces, such as hand engraved coasters to larger pieces such as coffee tables and have started to produce paintings as another product range..
My house is my workshop and space is very limited but sufficient for my needs, I would like to have a nice big workshop with loads of equipment but that isn't possible so I make everything in my lounge. This doesn't affect the standard of my work though as I have a working standard of ' if i wouldn't buy it, then I wont sell it' .
I have a great love of animals and will be bringing a range of cat and dog houses and activity stands to my shop in the near future which can be custom made to your own requirements. You can even have your own cat or dog carved and painted onto them. Another range of paintings I will be bringing will be, my pet in a painting, not just a portrait, but the chance to have your loved one either, sat on the beach, in a tree or at the foot of a Buddha statue.
Please enjoy browsing through the store and check out my website too ( www.newagecarvings.com ) for more details about me and my work and the projects page shows the stages that go into making them.
