Hi my name is Lynn and I have worked with textiles since my grandma taught me to sew 'Cindy' clothes when I was a child. After spending a year at Art College several years' ago learning to develop my own designs, I continued with further study by qualifying in City & Guilds Textile Design. My main interests are dyeing, printing and manipulating photograpy. I have a personal library of photographic images collected from travels to various places that range from nature, botanics, architecture, to just pure abstract, with the main aim of transferring these designs to textiles by screenprinting or other methods of print. I also enjoy experimenting with organic design (because you never know what you gonna get!)using different methods of dyeing and geometric designs that can be created using Shibori. I just like making nice 'things' that give pleasure!
