Natty Peeps is London based designer, artist and maker. Since in 2011 they have sold their items at various London design and craft markets, like Herne Hill Market and Greenwich Market.
Natty Peeps original design style takes its inspiration from traditional, Norther European crafts, motif-making and an upbeat palette of joyous, vibrant colour. The artist behind Natty Peeps studied design, visual arts and hypermedia and she has always enjoyed making crafts. She learned knitting at very early age of 3 from her mother and grandmother. Since then she has always been making and sometimes also incorporates the craft elements into her new media art works.
In 2011 she decided to slow down her life in London and concentrate on sustainably made crafts drawing inspiration from the crafts of her childhood in Estonia. She is also interested to see if is possible to raise awareness on the value of the work crafters do.
All knitwear, crocheted items and jewellery created under the Natty Peeps brand are considerately hand-crafted. The sourcing of materials is done with respect for high human value because Natty Peeps cares for the planet, we all share.
