I'm a great-grandmother who loves to knit and crochet!

I've been knitting and crocheting since I was a young girl but I really got into my stride when I had children and made many of their clothes by hand. When my children grew up and had babies of their own, I was able to pull out my old patterns again - and now I have great grand-children, I am still kept busy! Here I am with my great-granddaughter Naomi who's now nine years old!

Lots of friends ask me to knit items for their newborns, and my crocheted granny blankets are always in demand.

I do have a cat (a naughty tortoiseshell called Minnie) but she isn't allowed in the same room as my knitting because she will probably steal the wool and get up to mischief. All items are kept in a closed bedroom where she can't get in.

Buying from me

I hand knit and crochet as a hobby and have made clothing and blankets for my own children as well as my grandchildren and great-grandchildren! My favourite items to knit are baby cardigans and jumpers and my crocheted granny blankets are always in demand from friends and family!

I usually use acrylic yarn (DK) as this is easy to wash and does not shrink which is useful for small children! If you have a particular request, please get in touch and let me know - I'll see what I can do.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
