About My Cherokee Dreams

My Cherokee Dreams

Registered Iroquoian Cherokee Native dedicated to promoting peaceful dreams and creating working pieces of art

Originally an Oklahoma native, I moved across the pond with my Husband seven years ago. I began making Dream catchers for friends and family and soon realised this was my calling. With each piece I create I immense myself wholly into making a one of a kind work of art that people will treasure for years to come. I often see dreamcatchers in shops that are cheaply done and will not last for more than a year or two. A lot of care and detail are put into my pieces to withstand the tests of time and to also keep you always noticing something new every time you look at it. Most all of the materials used are natural as I want my pieces to look as though they were plucked from a tree in the wild.

Dreamcatchers are a very large part of Native American culture but what you may not know is that stones and crystals were considered sacred to Native Americans as well. I like to use Obsidian Arrowheads for most pieces as these were prized and sacred material among the Natives, especially the Cherokee. The stones for each piece are chosen for you "The Dreamer" to ensure a peaceful nights sleep while also invigorating your mind. This is to help you tap into your creative thoughts that you may not think about consciously giving you inspiration to fulfill your "Dreams". I fully believe in the power of crystals and stones and only the best quality stones are put into my pieces.

Dreamcatchers make the perfect gift and really show that you care. Everyone loves a good nights rest and why not have something nice to look at as well. A lot of my work is bespoke pieces so if you like what you see but it's not quite what you want please send me an email and we can discuss some ideas : )
