My name is Liene. Ever since I can remember I have always been a creative and crafty person. I enjoy knitting, crocheting, beading and lots more. But I didn't try out sewing until I was nearly 30!!! years old. It always seamed like a big scary boogieman that I was just too scared to try. But very soon after the birth of my son (it must have had something to do with maternal hormones going crazy) I decided I want to master sewing. I borrowed my first sewing machine and made my first baby harem trousers for my wee baby. With every single item I made I learned loads of new things and got even more hooked on this amazing hobby.
And so it all begun. I can definately say that my boys are my greatest inspiration, my biggest critics and the best product testers.
When it comes to my personal fashion choices I want to look good but comfort is something that I value the most. And you know what? So do the kids! That is why I make sure that all the items I design not only look good but also make the little one feel comfortable.
I work with soft and stretchy knit fabrics that provide the best possible comfort and look adorable on the little person. Where possible I supply organic materials but sometimes the prints are just too cute to resist. But I will always make sure that the materials I use are safe for kids and babies.
