'Modig Trae' is Danish and it means Brave wood, Modig pronounced 'Moulie' and Trae meaning wood (The English get the word Tree from the Danes and use it for 'A tree' and not wood).
In the beginning was the wood, and the wood was good.
A love of all things wood is a necessity working at Moulie wood, all the crew love wood and all things wooden. Old wood, abandoned and neglected, new timber laid down in nice neat rows. Wood that no one else wants or can make use of we love it all. We take it and work a magic on it, turning it into useful, beautiful and wondrous things. Always covered in sawdust and smelling of wood sap and resin the Moulie crew just love wood.
Doing our bit!
We try to use as much recycled wood as possible and collect as much as we can leaving no skip unturned. Taking things apart is as much a skill as putting them together and the reclamation team save every piece they can as well as the nails, screws, hinges and knobs. 'Saving the planet' well no not really that's beyond us, but happy to say we're doing our bit.
