All of my fabrics, trims and buttons are recycled and sourced from other clothes, charity shops, donations, (and occasionally my own wardrobe), or are vintage fabrics that I've found in friends and families lofts.....Because of this it means there is only ever enough fabric to make a one off dress, which means no one else will have the same outfit. How cool is that!
And of course everything is fully laundered with non bio liquid before I use it.
A quick note about my prices. They may seem high, but please bear in mind that I produce the whole item. I design, make the pattern, choose the fabrics and cut the dresses, make them (see my little workroom photo above), measure, photograph, upload and post them. And each unique item takes approximately two days to produce from start to finish. So hopefully you'll see the love, care and work that goes into each one which is then reflected in the price.
And now to tell you a lil' bit about myself....I'm a country girl at heart growing up near an ancient bluebell wood, but have spent most of my days living in South East London, which is also very dear to my heart. I visit home all the time to get the full effect of what is such a complete contrast.
I've worked in the clothing industry for over 25 years doing girlswear. I studied at the London College of Fashion and Colchester Institute prior to that. I was taught to use a sewing machine at a young age by my Mum. My Dad was a carpenter before he retired, so I've learned all my DIY and woodwork skills from him.
I'm only just starting this new venture and look forward to including a range of other size dresses, plus small pieces of upcycled and recycled furniture in the not too distant future....So watch this space ;-)
Lastly, I would be happy to take on any commissioned work you'd like me to do. I can alter, rework, make a specific item for you, or completely start from scratch. I have many years experience in design and pattern cutting, and have made numerous bridesmaid dresses and last year I did my first wedding dress. I would be happy to help anyone and discuss options.

I love this wine cooler, it’s unique, unusual, fits all sorts of size and shape wine bottles, including wider sparkling wine bottles and it’s really well made. We used it recently and it worked perfectly and kept our wine lovely and chilled.
