Be it a gift for yourself or a gift for a cherished friend; I trust that it will be loved in the same way I enjoyed making it.

From humble but determined beginnings, pen to paper, needle to cloth, brush to canvas, this small town girl always believed she wasn't artistic. It only took the love of a good mentor to nurture and encourage what has now become moments of peace, moments of joy, moments of frustration and moments of pleasure.

I find inspiration in things, in nature and in people. I love texture and colour but most of all I love to feel and experience.

This is a continued journey and development of mindfulness, contentment, discovery and adventure of trying the new and learning from the old. I believe that nothing is so ugly that it cannot compliment something beautifully delicate like rust and lace or fragments and thread.....

Good advice from my mentor and friend:-

Always turn your face towards the sun so you know that the shadows have no choice but to fall behind you.
