I sew and embroider things to make life more fun.

After many,many years of teaching maths when I only sewed in my spare time I have now retired and can create to my heart's content! I started making simple bags then more complicated ones then cushions, aprons, tea cosies, cactii (no need to water ) to name but a few. I always try to use natural materials: cottons, linen or wool. I love their tactile beauty. Many of my designs will have elements of nature in them. The will hopefully also bring a smile to your face. My current favourite is the exuberant little dachsund even though my home is entirely pet free. It is a complete pleasure to sit at my machines and make something; I hope you too will enjoy these pieces.

Buying from me

After many years of teaching when I only sewed in my spare time I have now retired and can create to my heart's content. At first it was bags then cushions and masks and eventually allsorts all made in beautiful cottons, linen or wools. You'll see my love of the landscape in the designs and sometimes a touch of quirkiness. I appreciate the unique so even when I repeat a design it's never exactly the same again. So that's it then. I make practical, pretty things that I hope you will love.

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
