Handmade Lampshades from the deepest darkest Cotswolds

Hi, I'm Claire, and I love to create lampshades!

I started to create lampshades when my youngest son wanted a Paddington Bear themed bedroom and I couldn’t find a lampshade to buy so I made one myself.

I am now addicted to creating lampshades, spending my spare time finding beautiful fabrics and wallpapers to create new designs. Friends and family started to ask me to make lampshades for them and now I have taken the next step to created my shop on Folksy.

I create my designs in the village of Down Ampney, deep in the Cotswold countryside.

I work in the spare room of my home in between juggling a part time office job at a local primary school and looking after my family.

I create designs that I love and of course those for children have been given the OK by my 2 boys (although they aren’t keen on unicorns!)
