Buying from me

Each print is designed, carved and printed by hand.

The design is transferred to the lino block. For each layer of colour, the block is carved by hand using specialist tools, then inked and printed, either with a press, a baren or a wooden spoon!

Depending on the nature of the design, the process may be a single colour block, a multi block print or a reduction print. For a single block print, no more is done except the drying time. For a multi block print, each colour is printed separately, on separately carved lino blocks.

Reduction prints are the most complex. The initial stage is completed and dried, before carving away more from the block and printing the next layer. Each layer of ink needs time to dry before the next can be applied. More and more of the lino block is carved away for each layer, essentially destroying the block, making it a truly limited edition.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
