MY SHOP IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

My daughter bought a candle making kit for me which I thought was a waste of money and reluctantly used it...

I am a registered nurse by profession and coming close to retirement age. I only work one night shift a week in a nursing home and I love it.
During summer I enjoy gardening. Gardening for me started as an escape from anxiety experienced during a dark patch in my life. I am now able to grow enough flowers and vegetables for my own use. Unfortunately my husband is not keen on vegetables but loves the garden. My garden is also a source of admiration from friends and family who visit our house.
I came across candle making by chance when my candle loving daughter bought a candle kit for me. I t took me some time to use it
and once I did, it became an enjoyable hobby for me. I researched on waxes and everything needed for candle making and the rest is history.
I am very proud of myself that what started as some sort of hobby has now become something I can be confident to offer for sale. I use different types of waxes to make scented wax melts, pillar candles using moulds and soon I will add scented container candles to my collection. I hope my candles bring a smile to someone's face like they do to me each time I make one. I do not own any pets due to allergies but am the proud owner of a few animal shaped candles which are displayed throughout my house.
