Knitwear with a difference

I developed a passion for knitting and crochet years ago. There's something very satisfying about creating wonderful works of art with yarns, so many textures and colours. I tend to favour natural yarns, from cotton to bamboo, wool to angora, and acrylic yarns for cheap and cheerful.

The shop name Loki Bear Knitwear aka Woolly Boo comes from my dog, Loki, who has a thing about destroying my balls of wool whenever he gets the chance! He's also soft, white and very fluffy, so the name kind of made sense.

So, what's my 'difference'? I tend to use earth colours for my creations, recycled yarns, vintage yarns and yarns that use no chemical dyes. I also try, as much as I can, to source my yarns from the UK.

I can do bespoke items, so if you see anything you like but need a different size, shade or colour, just drop me a line.
