Mum has sewn for as long as I remember and her passion for quilting has inspired me to start the craft too. Mum and I love to work on projects together, so sometimes the items you buy will have been made by one or both of us! We spend lots of time designing quilts, shopping for the perfect fabric, cutting the pieces, sewing together and free-motion quilting the finished design onto its backing fabric, before adding the perfect binding. Patchwork quilts are an art form - they reflect the individual decisions made by the quilter in every step of the process. So much nicer than 'off the shelf' items, but that's why you're here on Folksy! I hope that we can make something for you. If there isn't a quilt in our shop that takes your fancy, we do custom orders too. We'd love to make you a handmade patchwork quilt to cherish for years to come so please message us.
