Unique creations in paint and fabric.

I work in both acrylic and oil. I discovered my passion for life drawing and portrait art when I was at college. We are all drawn to the eyes of a person or animal and as a person on “the spectrum” I find making eye contact with others particularly intense. I try to capture this intensity through in my work.

I have always loved animals and I regularly take on commissioned pet portraits. I also like to paint farm animals, focusing on one animal from a heard or flock.

I have a dog a cat and a tortoise. I aim to have a small holding and sheep one day.

I also enjoy working with textiles, using up-cycled materials. I sew by hand and I like the repetitiveness of the process. I do not follow a pattern - I’m more of a freestyle stitcher!
