Unique creations for unique folk

I am maturing like a good cheese, and like a scrumptious cheese it should be shared with folk. After studying art, theatre design, painting and drawing and garden design I could not get a job in the areas I was suited. It has taken me many years to finally bite the bullet and start to attempt living my dream.
So here am I in Scotland, working as needs must until one day i hope to be making a wage from what I am actually good at and not staring at a computer all day getting boss eyed and back ache.
I am surrounded by the beauty of nature here, and this is what stirs my imagination. After living in a town in southern England the difference between the two is beyond comparison, not that there is anything wrong with towns but they kind of freak me out. Too busy, too crowded, too noisy, too many cars, too much concrete.
I love to learn new skills and do not enjoy making multiples of items - I thrive when I make each piece different and unique.
I have in the past immersed myself in making historical costume, marquetry, stained glass, processing fleece, painting, knitting and crochet, gardening, guitar, opera singing and virtually anything else I could try. My newest venture is soap which I hope to be able to sell eventually after the minefield of red tape and safety testing has been overcome,
I am content when I am making things. Up until now I have given things away, but I have reached that time in my life where I need to do something useful, creative that is loved by others, so in turn bring a little joy into their lives and to concentrate on what I love.
I have to balance my passion between working, a husband, 4 cavalier dogs and a cat. They all need attention in different proportions.
I hope you will be patient with this new shop as I am learning and need to photograph things and get my head around it all. But, come back from time to time and I hope to have a range of different items available for your perusal.
