Hello and welcome to my shop. I mainly sell prints and product, but I also sell originals too. All of my products are made to order so they may take a while to be dispatched so please allow plenty of time if buying as a gift. I offer FREE postage for the UK. On international delivery, the charge for the second item is to allow for the fact that some items can't be shipped together, but I am always happy to refund any overages on shipping costs.

intuitively painted landscapes mainly on canvas inspired by the seasonal changes of the English Landscape

I started my creative life as a Graphic Designer but I have drawn and painted for as long as I can remember. I attended The Berkshire College of Art and Design and managed to work as a graphic designer for many years before having my two children. My graphics background has definitely influenced my use of composition and colour, although now, I very rarely pre-plan my work as I prefer to paint spontaneously from my imagination allowing the picture to develop as I go. I do occasionally work from photos but I do tend to get over-involved in making it look like the photo rather than adding personality and style.

I work mainly on canvas but I have more recently started to work on paper as well. I also love to work on wood and slate. My mainly influence definitely comes from the English landscape as I was born and brought up on a farm so nature is something that I love and my paintings explore the ever-changing seasons. My favourite season to paint is winter as I love seeing the structure of the trees that are hidden during the other seasons. My winter scenes are also my best sellers with many of my originals selling before they are even finished.

In my mixed media pieces I use everything from texture paste and glues to stitching and beads and in my acrylic paintings, I love to explore mark making techniques.

More recently I have discovered Alkyd oils (a faster drying version of oil paint). They blend so beautifully and the colours are so vibrant. I will gradually be releasing prints of these as the originals tend to sell even before they are finished.

My shop contains mainly prints of my paintings but I do also list smaller originals. I also occasionally like to create more unusual products like my Kiln Bottle lighthouses and Glass Bottle art. I also have been getting my images digitally printed onto coasters and cushions and this is an exciting area for me as the possibilities are endless. I have also had my images licensed for cards and prints.

I sell my work exclusively on-line but my licensed products are available both online and in shops and galleries across the country.

Oh and I also have a gorgeous ginger cat called Leo.
