Bright and beautiful personalised cushions, one-of-a-kind colourwork blankets and funky hats!

I began to crochet about six years ago. I was suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome and unable to work, and I needed something to stop me going stir-crazy! What began as something to keep my hands and mind occupied quickly turned into a passion, and I started designing my own patterns and creating beanie hats, cushions, and great big multi-coloured blankets.

The cushions started life as presents for friends and small relatives, and I loved the idea of making one-off gifts so much I decided I simply had to start selling them online too!

With the blankets, I don't put any designs down on paper, I don't really plan them much at all - I just make them up as I go along. I love the way an idea can develop like that. I love to create a patchwork look without actually making any patches!

When I'm not up to my eyeballs in yarn, you can find me either at the swimming pool, nose-deep in a book, or looking after my two bearded dragons and three axolotls!
