Ladja Tweedcraft, handmade Harris Tweed bags from the Isle of Lewis

All my bags are handmade from the very beautiful, pure wool fabric Harris Tweed from my local mill Harris Tweed Hebrides. I started making bags as a new outlet for my love of crafting and for several years exhibited at craft fairs around Aberdeenshire where two of my daughters live. I am not Scottish by birth but moved to the Isle of Lewis in the Western Isles from Yorkshire in 1988 with my husband who is from the island and has worked in the Harris Tweed industry for most of his life and our three daughters. I love all animals and living on the island has made it possible to realise a lifelong dream of owning my own horses, it is for them that I am still working beyond retirement age and them who keep me active and able to work.

I make bags, cushions, ladies and household accessories in Harris Tweed a 100% wool fabric made exclusively in the Western Isles of Scotland.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
