Hand forged delights for the home and garden

I am Lucille Scott, after teaching in schools for 16 years I saw a couple of blacksmiths demonstrating at a show and remembered that I had always planned to work as a blacksmith! I immediately sacked myself (I was head of the department) and took on a part time job in the same department (one that had always been too small and had always been a pain to fill). Next I enrolled at Holme Lacy Rural Crafts Center and spent a wonderful year doing my basic training as a blacksmith. On my return I started my business and worked part time as a blacksmith whilst still teaching in school. Soon combining the two became impossible and the joy of being able to create art that the public are willing to buy resulted in me turning to the forge full time. Here I am in my happy place, surrounded by an ever increasing range of toys (known by some as tools), what isn't there to like about hot metal.....

Please be aware that since all items are hand made, they will never be identical to either another of the same product nor necessarily to those pictured in the website/brochure. We believe that this only adds to the uniqueness and desirability of our goods.
Most things listed are in stock but not always complete so please give 5 days for shipping. If there is likely to be a longer delay we will get in contact.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
