I‘m Samantha AKA Hoop Doodles…

I’ve been into crafting of all kinds since my teenage years, but Hoop Doodles didn’t come into being until early 2021 as a way to keep myself sane while stuck at home poorly. While I had always enjoyed doing cross stitch, I decided I need a new Challenge and gave hand embroidery ago, I haven’t looked back since.

I‘m totally addicted and even though I’m back at work as a childminding assistant full time, Hoop Doodles has become my side hustle, where I sell my art as well as making custom embroidery for all occasions. Hello, I‘m Samantha AKA Hoop Doodles. I‘m a modern hand embroidery artist from Oxfordshire, England.

I design & make everything myself, using either Cotton or Linen Fabric and DMC embroidery thread. While I make embroidery hoops in all sizes I tend to work with 3, 4 & 5 inch hoops the most. Inspiration for my work comes from all corners Interest, from pop culture and film, literature, music and the great British countryside.
