Helenmadeuk is all about the lovingly created items I've made from the comfort of my own home

About three years ago, my Mum & I joined a night class for a few weeks where we learnt to create and sew various items for the home. That's where my love of sewing began! My first creation was a doorstop in the shape of a little house, and I'm pleased to say its still in use three years on!

I've made several things for friends and family, such as personalised bunting for Christenings or new baby blankets and all the comments have been about how I should try my hand at turning it into a little business, so here I go! I work full time so any sewing I do is in my spare time. Everything I make is made from the highest quality materials and lots of time and attention goes into making sure they look exactly how they should. I only cut material and thread, not corners!
