A contemporary artist who uses drawing as means of creating detailed and original pieces of artwork.

I am a visual artist living and working in the North East of England. I primarily use drawing as a means of investigation into diverse subject matters: the troubles of Northern Ireland, injury, nature, animals, seas, text, statements.

Using pen and ink on paper, the work comprises thousands of minute dots, capturing imagery with a heightened level of intricacy and aestheticism, paying the same amount of attention to the differing subject matter.

I have developed Heathenware, as a means to showcase an ever changing and growing body of work which is varied in content but all encompassing the same basis: high quality, detailed, aesthetic, affordable art which anyone can own.

I graduated with a degree in Contemporary Art from Northumbria University (1996). Held various positions in a professional capacity for an arts organisation and subsequently company coordinator for a live art collaborative.

Over the past 1-2 years I've been developing my own practice, technique, subject matter, etc... And this is where I've organically arrived, a body of work which is constantly evolving.
