Hi my name is Lyn, otherwise known as Hearty Hen!

After moving to the countryside I had a newfound burst of inspiration in the natural beauty of my new surroundings, translating this in to my creations, crafts and hobbies!

One of my other passions is to journal, however I could never find that special book, the one I couldn’t wait to pick up and jot down thoughts, plans and notes using my favourite pen! With this in mind, I set about making unique hand sewn books using the best quality papers and materials that are friendly to the environment, and bound carefully with hand waxed thread!

Recycling and up-cycling is part of my ethos, giving new life to old things brings me so much joy, and hopefully this will be passed on to you as the new owner of my creations!
