Hello there *waves enthusiastically*. My name is Teri and I am the brains (stop sniggering in the back!) behind a Heart of Stones. I am a collector of unusual objects, qwerky artwork and obviously, beautiful gemstones. My family thinks i have a gemstone 'problem' and if that is true, then I wholeheartedly give in to my addiction!

I am an avid tea drinker, (bad) singer, (worse) dancer and depressingly a wheat intolerant cake muncher but im also an optimistic wheat free baker (the 10 different wheat free flour bags have been sat unopened in my kitchen cupboards for over two months now.....that's some serious optimism).

I design and make unique and rustic boho jewellery. The inspiration for most of my pieces comes from Nature itself. Many of my design ideas have come from my adventures with my family to our favourite space on earth....Lake Windermere. We spend many hours in the boat (usually freezing and clinging to a lukewarm warm coffee to suck up every last bit of heat) fishing for monster Pike. Now I know what your thinking, fishing?! Yep, I though the same thing, a bunch of men sat on a canal bank having a chat about football until the Sunday dinner was ready, but it's not. It is hard work but so very rewarding, plus I see so much beautiful wildlife like very recently a wild otter swimming right next to the boat!

I am a self taught Metalsmith with an unquenchable thirst for new tips, advice and information. I started making simple beaded pieces as a hobby then as my interest grew I started to gather more and more information on handmade jewellery until one day I stopped dreaming of the "I wish I could do that" and started thinking "I bet I could do that!".

My style is very much rustic but romantic that both men and women can wear. I made the mistake in the beginning of only making what I thought would be popular instead of making pieces that I would wear and that I truly believed in.

Each piece of my Jewellery is meticulously handmade in my Heart Of Stones Studio, using traditional silversmithing techniques, while i dream of my next adventure (and usually blaming everyone else for moving the one specific tool I need before realising that it's in my pocket. And no I don't own up to that hehehe).

Every piece is also completely handmade by my fair paws using only the best materials and highest quality natural gemstones, meaning that every item is a true One Of A Kind.

Now I must go because Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' has just popped onto the radio and this requires some serious (bad) singing along to and some sexy dance moves!
