Handmade Home was born during lockdown January 2021 and became official on Etsy February 2021 after being made redundant from my job in interiors after 15 years of employment . I have always been artistic with GCSE and A Level Art as well as a college course in Art and Design. From then I went on to manage an Art shop for 9 years until I started my family. After a year of being a new mum I started working in interiors, selling furniture and home accessories including designing bespoke furniture for customers and advising in interior design. I have always had creative projects on the go, glass painting and crafting when I was in my 20's and designing Wedding Stationery in my 30's. Only now have I found the time, and a craft I really enjoy that is original, where I can properly create a collection that I love and am proud of.
I juggle Handmade Home with a new job in interiors and also with being a mum and I cant imagine my life without it now. So please, take a look around my store, I hope you find something you like!
