Making your home more eco and the mundane more beautiful!

I'm an eco conscious, exercised obsessed crafter and live with my husband, two children and loveable pooch Django. I think I've inherited my Mum's crafting genes having grown up with countless trips to fabric shops in Manchester, pouring over beads, buttons and threads. I love colours, textures, design and function.

I love working with fabrics and yarns to make beautiful and useful things. I love to make the mundane beautiful, afterall, peg bags needn't be boring, they should be a pleasure to look at and use! I upcycled an old dress to make my first peg bag; a dress which I wore to a wedding when I was pregnant, so it holds happy memories for me and I'm reminded of them every time I peg out.

I've always been eco-conscious and recently, like many people I'm on a journey to find replacements for single use plastics. This is the inspiration behind why I'm selling my hand crafted items. I've chosen to sell things I've made and tested out myself. They are things I regularly use and have found to be perfect and easy replacements for plastic.
