I like to transform a piece of paper into art using a computer, a blade and a slightly mad imagination.

Green Beans and Gin Papercuts is all about making a plain piece of paper look pretty. I go through a lot of blades and paper before I perfect a design and I'm only happy when it's looking fabulous.

I've got various designs in my shop, some of which can be personalised. Random things I've done in the past have been names with pandas, gymnastics, boys' hobbies or elephants. If it can be cut, I'll cut it - just ask me.

Two things influence me the most - I'm a runner and I like to look back on a race I've done with pride. Obviously, there's usually a t-shirt or a medal but for a special race, I do papercuts. I've done them for the London Marathon, the Yorkshire Marathon, the Great North Run and various shorter races too.

Also, I'm a new mum and having a personalised papercut picture that looks great in a nursery or as a birthday, Christmas, new baby or Christening present appeals to me, so hopefully it will appeal to you too!
