Hi and welcome to my Folksy Shop!

I'm Pea and I'm essentially a ceramicist: love working with clay - enchanted by the plasticity, tactileness and malleability of it, still, even after 25 odd years later!

I love making things with clay. The malleable qualities and versatility of clay makes my imagination run riot. Almost everything is one off, I don't use many molds.

I live and work in Bristol where I have my studio. I make hand-built ceramics from stoneware and mostly porcelain clays. I have a penchant for varied and dynamic styles and often add found bits and bobs into my work.

I am inspired by everything around me, but mostly by the beauty in eroded, time honoured surfaces, and shapes that endured their journey through time. They call this Wabi-Sabi in Japan.

If I'm not getting my hands covered in clay, I paint, design and make objects using mixed media but clay has always had that special place in my heart. I also list my everyday jewellery pieces here.

Welcome to my Folksy Shop.

I make ceramics and here I sell some of them. I made each item lovingly, by hand. I hope you will find something you like either for yourself of for a loved one.

I only accept PayPal as payment: as you may know, you don't have to have a PayPal account - you can directly use your debit or credit card.

Due to Covid, there are postal delays with the Royal Mail... Your patience is much appreciated.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.

For hygiene reasons, I cannot accept returns of earrings, unless the item is faulty.
