I'm an enthusiastic creator of fun jewellery and crafts

A warm welcome!

Let me tell you a little about what I do.

I am a self-taught crafter of fun and costume jewellery working out of my small flat in Surrey. I have enthusiastically embraced the world of crafting, and jewellery making in particular, for which I usually use resin, beads or crystals. As I gain more experience, I’ll expand my repertoire – possibly into sterling silver and so on – I’m still a WIP ;o).

Some of my items are quite dramatic. There are a handful of pieces I have learned to make by following tutorials done by others in the crafting community - they have been my teachers. I usually add a little twist to distinguish my pieces from what was taught, but I happily acknowledge here the originators who inspired me – it’s only fair!

I love the ‘gothic’ and ‘ethereal’ thing, so as my skill-set develops you’ll see more items which can be said to be ‘gothic’ or ‘ethereal’.

As my creations are handmade, I’ve kept them ‘organic’ in feel, so you’ll not see too many straight edges or perfect curves, but love is built into each and every one!

Future pieces will be items to wear: slogan-printed Ts, one-off embellished ‘occasion’ dresses, cufflinks to name but a few. That being said, however, I cannot do bespoke items for the time being.

Where possible, I try to use quality fabrics (100% cotton, for example), but I’ll also venture into stretch fabrics as well. I will also use silky satins and other luxurious fabrics for purely decadent reasons – after all, during these unprecedented times, I believe we NEED to at least treat ourselves to something self-indulgent. With that in mind you’ll see I like vibrant colours and that this is evident in almost everything I produce.

Discovering my ‘creative gene’ is an ongoing journey of pure joy and I’m extremely happy to be sharing what I love with you.
